It can be quite tricky making plans for the weekend when it’s so hot even the slightest movement makes you start to sweat. Sitting indoors all day with the air conditioning on can be a solution, but we prefer these 5 fun things: Beach time!
On a hot summer’s day, it’s delicious to cool off in the sea or your local swimming pool. Of course you mustn’t forget your new bikini! In between dips, you can work on your tan on your new beach towel while enjoying a good book. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water!
In a shopping mood?
Shopping in an exposed town centre is a real no-no when it’s 30 degrees outside. Fortunately, many of the big department stores have air-conditioning! That way, you can try on all those must-have little summer numbers and pick up your dream outfit for the upcoming festivals!
Messing about on boats
Hire a boat and set off on the water with your BFFs! Open Spotify and select our Summer Vibes playlist, including Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson (you won’t want to miss this one!) and bring some fruit and home-made healthy snacks with you… Or a tub of Ben & Jerry’s of course! Must be eaten at once 😉
Relax at home
When you’re lying on your balcony or in the garden, enjoy reading your fave magazine and make sure you have some cool fruity juice by your side. You can also bring your laptop with you and binge-watch a new series (or shop for your fave bikinis online)! Hot tip: Pretty Little Liars has nearly finished, but Lucy Hale will be continuing as the main character in the new series Life Sentence!
Go to a theme park
Cooling off on super-fast rollercoasters and water attractions is also an option. A successful day out with your friends is guaranteed!
Which tip is totally your thing?
