Staying home from work and school seems like a luxury, but these are crazy times, and after binge-watching all kinds of Netflix series, boredom does begin to set in. But don’t lose all hope! There are plenty of fun things you can do at home, on your own or with others. We’re here to save the day.
Cooking
At last, you have enough time to try out new recipes, and spend hours in the kitchen. Search online for some nice recipes or dig out a cookbook from under the dust and surprise yourself with your cooking skills.
Home workout
You can continue to work out at home. Grab a yoga mat, weights and maybe some elastic bands. No sports gear at home? No problem! YouTube has lots of workouts where you don’t need anything but yourself.
Spring cleaning
This is the perfect time to finally clean out your closets. Take your time to check all your stuff and consider whether you still need it or not. As Marie Kondo says, “If something no longer serves a purpose, throw it out!”
Games
Are you at home with your partner or your friends? Then go for a nice game. Monopoly, Rummikub and Jenga are the best games to play together. Not really in the mood for competition? Then start an old-fashioned puzzle together. Again, this will keep you occupied for a few hours.
Self-care
Taking some time for yourself doesn’t hurt during these days at home. Light some candles, put on a relaxing mask, give yourself a manicure or pedicure, and turn on the Netflix series again. This will surely get us through the days at home!
