Top tips for charging your smartphone
Smartphones: we can’t live without them! Did you know that we check our smartphones between 80 and 120 times a day? Ordering a new bra online, messaging friends and checking Instagram have all become part of our routine. So it’s important that your phone battery lasts as long as possible. Here are 3 top tips for charging your smartphone.
1. Little by little
Charging your phone a bit at a time is better for your battery. So charge your phone if you have a few minutes, although it may not seem like the most practical way, especially if there’s no plug around. It’s also important that you don’t let your battery run out completely. The ideal percentage for your battery is between 65 and 75%. So try and make sure you keep it within this range. If that’s not possible, then try and at least keep your battery level between 45 and 75%. You can always carry an external battery pack with you to charge your phone in an emergency.
2. Don’t charge overnight
Charge your phone up to about 75% before you go to bed, then unplug it. Charging your phone to 100% is not good for the battery. If you charge your phone overnight then there’s a chance that it will be charged to 100% for a few hours. Luckily, our phones don’t keep charging when the battery is full, but keeping your phone plugged in can damage the battery eventually. It’s best to charge your battery completely just once a month.
3. Watch out for overheating
You can keep using your phone while it’s on charge, but be careful it doesn’t get too warm. If you notice your phone is overheating while it’s charging, use a different charger. You can also take the cover off, if you have one.
So: keep your battery between 65 and 75%, try not to charge it completely, and watch out for overheating. This will make your battery last longer, meaning you can check out the latest lingerie sets on the Hunkemöller site without worrying 😉
