The best hairstyles for greasy hair
It’s one of life’s toughest choices: fabulous (clean) hair or an extra 30 minutes of sleep. Washing our hair van be a daunting task. Sometimes we just can not be bothered. But the idea of walking around with greasy hair isn’t very appealing either… But you’re in luck: It’s best to wash your hair 2-3 a week anyways. (all in the name of great hair, right?) So, put that fluffy robe on and go back to bed. With these tips bad hair days will be a thing of the past.
A simple hair accessory goes a long way! Try using a small scarf to hide your oily roots and take your outfit to the next level!
How to: put your hair up in a messy bun and leave out some of the front bits. Tie the scarf behind the loose bits for an easy but stylish look.
The topknot has saved our lives more than once. Usually it’s just your roots that have the tendency to become oily. The topknot is the perfect hairstyle to hide those oily roots!
How to: Dry shampoo is our new knight in shining armour. Sprits a little on your roots for a little va-va-voom. Take the top part of your hair and twist it in to a messy bun. If needed use bobby pins to secure in place.
Are you a middle part kinda girl? Time to switch it up: Try wearing your hair in a side part. This will ensure no one will see your oily roots! (and makes your hair look thicker: yay! )
How to: use a tail comb and decide how deep you want your side part to be. Then comb hair in side part, for extra oomph: try curling your hair!
Braids are still very much a thing. Hot and happening now are the circle braid (think:edgy) and Dutch braids. Our favourite are the Dutch Braids, so easy but ohhh so cute!
How to: Start at your hair line and braid downwards. Try going over and under for a more soft-spoken look.
Sooo… put that fluffy robe on and get to work! Which hairstyle is your new go-to?
