We all have them.. those days that nothing seems to go right: What is our hair doing and is that a pimple?! Having an off-day sucks. But even on those dreadful days you can feel beautiful! Curious? We present you: Feeling beautiful: A how-to-guide. 5 simple tips to help you feel beautiful.
1. Create a list!
It may seem a little lame, but create a list of your features that you think are beautiful. You might have big brown eyes, a cute little nose, plump lips or a dazzling smile. Can’t think of any? Ask a friend or family member. When that “uggghhh why me” moment comes, remember your list!
2. Have some fun!
On our off days all we want to do is curl up in bed wearing our fluffiest PJ’s. Don’t!! By wearing that fabulous outfit you where saving for a special day and going out with friends and just having fun you can turn your off-day into a careless and fun day out!
3. Beauty comes from within
Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Cliché but true: Feeling beautiful also comes from within. Beauty is so much more than the way you look. Think about what makes you a good person. You might be a great friend, this also makes you a beautiful person!
4. Wear something special.
But you’d be doing it for you. By paying more attention to the most important person in your life. (hint, it’s YOU) you’ll automatically feel better.
5. Fake it, till you make it
A healthy dose of confidence never hurts. But it doesn’t come natural for everyone. The solution is very simple: Fake it! By pretending you are super confident and feel beautiful, you can trick your brain into believing it!
You are You and that is what makes you beautiful. So be a little kinder to yourself… say, by spoiling yourself with some new items…? 😉
