We’ve all been there: That party was a little bit too much fun.. After a heavy night on the town you feel awful. Yep, chances are you’re hungover. Here are the best ways to cure that hangover. Because god knows, you need it.
Drink enough water
Your body is less capable of storing water when you’re drinking. It’s sensible to drink one glass of water for each glass of alcohol you drink. Not in the mood for trips to the bathroom all evening? Grab a tall glass of water before going to sleep and chug it as often as you can manage.
Make it your cheat day
Not all the alcohol is out of your system when you wake up. Fatty foods take up a larger space in your stomach and this causes the alcohol to be absorbed in the blood flow faster. This might not be the healthiest tip, but just think of it as your cheat day and it might not be all that bad 😉
Have a spoon of sugar
-alright, we know: it sounds weird and downright disgusting- But it helps! The alcohol causes a lack of stimuli for new energy. So by taking a large bite of sugar your body creates enough glucose to process everything –yes, this includes those embarrassing dance moves-
Sleep for as long as possible
It may sound fairly logical, but during sleep your body uses a the least amount of energy. So the energy you spare this way can be put to use to break down the alcohol! More sleep = more time for body to put in the work. –which helps your hangover- The great thing about this tip is you’ll be able to sneak in a little more zzzzz….. and feel better all at the same time!
Have some Coca-Cola
If thing got really..REALLY bad, Coca-Cola can be a real life saver. –leave It be for a bit, those bubbles might be bit harsh to the stomach- Drinking Coca-Cola causes your stomach to calm down. It can also make you even more thirsty so have another glass of water too please.
