5 tips for the best Instapics!
Ambassador Maxine (@maxine_vr) is a real pro when it comes to Instapics. Want to know how to take the perfect Instagram photo and what you need to consider? Read Maxine’s tips below.
Find the right light
Finding the right light is the starting point for a good pic. Bright sunlight will add an extra summer effect to your poolside bikini photos. Just make sure no part of your body is in the shade. The Snapseed app works wonders if your photo is too dark. You can use it to lighten darker spots or brighten up your photo.
It’s all about the location
A sexy bikini or a cute summer outfit always works, but will look even better if you get the background right. Are you heading to an Instagrammable place? Don’t forget to take your fave outfit and camera with you and be totally prepared. You don’t have to go abroad for great photos, there are plenty of cool places closer to home!
Don’t be shy & strike a pose
Not sure how to pose? Using props always helps! Why not try a Polaroid camera, cute sunglasses, pretty flowers, a handbag or fruit? If you want to make your legs look longer, then it’s best to take the photo from a lower angle. Standing on your tiptoes with one leg in front of the other will make you look slimmer.
A good camera goes a long way
A good camera isn’t always necessary, but can make the difference at dusk. A smartphone is fine for taking pics during the day and you can easily edit your photos using apps and post them the same day.
Finetune with Facetune
And what about the finishing touches? Prefer not to show the world your skin imperfection, wrinkle or double chin? Or is there someone photo bombing your photo? Photoshop is your hero baby! Want to be able to photoshop photos on your smartphone wherever you are? Download Facetune! But don’t go overboard. It still needs to look like you, not a completely different person. Always stay true to yourself!
Have lots of Instapic fun! I hope you found these tips useful.
