New year, new me! The New Year is all about new goals and opportunities. It’s high time we leave 2019 behind us and focus on 2020! Have you decided on your New Year’s resolutions yet? Do you have goals and wishes in mind for the year ahead? Be ready for 2020 with these tips!
- Create a photo book
One way to close the door on the year just gone is to make a lovely photo book. It helps you reminisce about all the memories and fantastic moments from the last year. It also helps you to reflect. What made you the happiest in 2019, and what do you hope to never revisit?
- Write your resolutions down
Most of us write our New Year’s resolutions down, but 9 times out of 10 give up on them by February. Avoid resolutions that really aren’t that feasible. If you’re already dreading the thought of exercising every day, but are planning on losing “x number of pounds”, you certainly won’t succeed. Instead, start with smaller goals, by taking our 14 day challenge, for example!
- Make a bucket list
A fun alternative to resolutions is a bucket list. What are the things you would like to do this year? With this list you can be more idealistic. Have you always wanted to do a bungee jump? Do you fancy going camping? Or, simply, to go to a gig? Put it on your bucket list! You never know, it might provide you with some inspiration later down the line if you’re bored. In any case, with a bucket list for 2020 you’ll be guaranteed a fun-packed year!
- Declutter your home
There’s no better way to kick-start the new year than with a decluttered home. Dedicate a whole weekend to decluttering. What stuff pleases you still, that you’d like to keep in 2020? Stuff you no longer need, or that has no meaning to you anymore, can be sold or given away. It’s a fantastic feeling to start the new year with a fresh slate, and to please others with your things!
