The right size
Blisters, sore toes or ingrown toe nails? (Ouch!) Try to avoid these by making sure you buy the right size when shopping for new shoes. Don’t buy shoes that are too small. But also don’t buy shoes that slide off your feet. So: Try them on in the shop, walk around in them and then choose.
Chunky, chunkier, chunkiest
Chunkier heels are always a good idea! Chunky heels give you more stability and sturdiness making them more comfortable to walk in. It all depends on the occasion of course but go for wedges if you can. If you practice, it won’t be long until you can walk in them all day: try it!
You can get insoles to reduce pain on pressure points! How good is that? Insoles will give some comfort to your footbed and will provide more sturdiness. The pain won’t completely disappear but every little help, right?
Reward your feet after a tough day in heels. Take a bath and let them warm up. Massage your feet and then spoil your feet with a rich foot cream. Your feet are now readyfor the next day!
Rest is the key
Rest is the solution (for nearly everything)! Don’t wear the (same) heels 5 days in a row. Give your feet a rest by wearing sneakers or boots for a change. Heels aren’t the only way to achieve that sexy look! Pair sneakers or boots with tights and your look will be complete.
Magic trick: tape!
This trick is an invention in itself. Wrap tape around your third and fourth toes and make sure that it is tight (without being too tight of course). The ball of your foot won’t hurt as much when wearing heels!
